Twist n Curl for New Year's Eve

My holiday style of choice was mini twists (they're actually still in but that's another story for another time).  On New Year's Eve I went out with the Hubster and wanted to make my hair look a little special for the evening.  I wanted more length and soft curl, so I opted to stretch my twists using bantu knots. 

I spritzed my hair with Creme of Nature Argan Oil Leave-in and added half a pump of Creme of Nature Argan Oil Foaming Wrap Lotion to each section, making two knots in the back, close to the nape of my neck, another low in the middle of the back of my head, two closer to the crown, one over each ear and one in the very front.  Sorry, I forgot to take pics when I did this.  Hope that makes sense.

When I took the knots down, my hair wasn't as curly as I intended, but I had a beautiful, soft wave to my hair. My mini twists tend to look flat and boring. It's more of a protective style for me, or something I do so I don't have to be bothered with my hair.  I really don't think mini twists are cute at all.  Maybe when my hair is longer.  I digress...  I pinned my hair up loosely in the back and pinned the front in place so it would stay put through dancing the night away (which I actually did not do BTW).

I wish I didn't have to take these twists down...they've served me well for the last few weeks.
